This two-day course offers a foundational understanding of evaluating and treating common temporomandibular disorders (TMD) and orofacial pain. Participants will explore TMJ anatomy, biomechanics, craniofacial neurology, referred pain patterns, and diagnostic categories. The course includes hands-on sessions on comprehensive TMJ assessment and treatment, with an emphasis on cervical spine influences. It also covers the management of complex cases, addressing psychosocial factors and chronic pain. Additional topics include oral appliance therapy, bruxism, sleep disorders, aural symptoms, and multidisciplinary management, including surgical interventions.

Ümit Erkut, Assistant Professor at Rümli University, is an international instructor and expert in osteopathy and physiotherapy. He holds a degree in Physical Therapy from Abant Izzet Baysal University and completed his osteopathy education in 2014. In 2016, he founded the Men's Health Physiotherapy Association in Turkey, focusing on pelvic pain and dysfunction. He frequently lectures at symposiums and congresses on men's health and dry needling techniques.
